Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What should my child bring to camp?
A: Please send your child with lunch, snacks, a water bottle, a backpack (labeled with their name), sunscreen, a jacket or sweatshirt, and comfortable shoes for outdoor play. We also highly encourage bringing a couple of books for Quiet Time, as we aim to work both body and mind. Please note that video games, tablets, and other screen devices are not allowed.
Q: Will lunch be provided?
A: Lunch will not be provided. Children should bring a packed lunch. Lunch will be from 12:30 to 1:00 pm. Snacks are welcome throughout the day.
Q: Do you offer early care or aftercare?
A: No, we do not offer early or aftercare. Since we’ll be focusing on intense workouts, we want the kids to rest in the afternoon so they’re fresh for the next day.
Q: Does my child need to know Judo?
A: Some basic Judo knowledge is recommended. Children should be at a beginner level or higher. Tumbling-level experience is not sufficient.
Q: What should my child wear?
A: Comfortable clothing and sports shoes are recommended for general exercise. For Judo sessions, your child will need a Judogi (uniform).
Q: Who will be leading the camp?
A: Sensei Adham, Cody, and Abdelrahman will be leading the camp instruction and daily activities, bringing over 40 years of combined experience in teaching Judo to athletes of all levels. Our Sempais (senior students) will also assist with activities, ensuring a supportive and engaging experience for all campers.
